The German traveller Jochen finds himself in the remote dreamworld of Georgia. Here his childhood longing for a vivid community, in which every individual is regarded as divine and holy, comes true – such as his hidden wishes for an admirable and gracious partner. Can Jochen accept?

What had meant to be a screenplay had the potential for a novel. This genre opened up the space to reflect in depth and to get an inside view of the characters – in a way that would hardly be possible in film. After the joys and the pains of writing I now must look for an agent or a publisher, since I am not crazy about self-publishing. Any assistance out there?

“Schizophrenia and shamanism are siblings; but the sick person does not know how to deal with his spirits.” This short sentence from a native American traditional healer inspired me to write a complete novel: A German psychiatrist falls in love with a schizophrenic woman; she invites him to rural South Africa, where she originally comes from. Under the influence of the foreign culture and its healing methods, the modern doctor must not only question his approach to the illness, but also himself ...  

This text is a challenge in different ways. On one hand I strive to put into words a way of perceiving the world that evades logical thinking and verbal description. On the other I try to picture the foreign realm of Africa in which I have spent many years and which I never have fully understood.
