(Working Title)
This art project shows people who surround me, who have experienced outstanding moments in life and do have something to tell. Often the wording is brought into a literary form by myself. Sometimes I use oral records. The texts will enjoy some artistic freedom, but the basis is always a piece of real life. The long-term project shows, that each- and every one of us stands out in our own personal way. The average person does not exist. Everybody is a work of art!
The project “Ordinary Heroes” combines the classic portrait in oil and written short-stories. A cycle of 10 to 15 paintings (80x60 cm) will emerge. The future pieces will be presented at exhibitions, as a catalogue, a book or through performance and reading. Such events could find audiences in the German-speaking world.
