The idea for the line drawings came up in connection with my picture book "The Thing About Paul" which is nowadays part of the project "Delusional Diaries" ”. Here an imaginary architect Petra is drawing images of her home town Goslar. For these pictures I created a ductus that was completely new for me; because the way the pencil runs over the paper should be unmistakable and belong only to her.
The idea of Petra living and working in my house became so prominent that friends began to ask on a regular basis how she was keeping. My answer: “Petra sends her love, but as always she is busy right now and unfortunately has got no time at hand.”
