Delusional Diaries

(Working Title)

Harry Hears Voices Where There ar None

In the media, people with psychosis are usually portrayed as violent, and we only hear about them when someone stabs three passers-by in the pedestrian zone of some city or other. Statistically speaking, however, schizophrenics are significantly less prone to violence than so-called normal people; after all, those affected are primarily preoccupied with themselves!

That is why I believe it is urgent to publish the fictional biographies of individuals in a concise and succinct form. These accounts are illustrated because the visual approach often allows us to convey things that are difficult to express in words. They also provide access for those who are only marginally interested in the subject. A publisher is being sought!

Zoe’s Precious Dreamland (Working Title)

This story and its illustrations are almost finished in my head, just not on paper yet. It tells the tale of a person who wants to change the world but fails and breaks down due to his own high expectations.

In my pictures I dedicate a unique style to each of my characters. In all cases, I use collage. Photography allows me to faithfully reproduce reality, while drawing reflects the unreal and the world of fantasy and imagination—two areas of perception that compete and overlap each other in everyday life, but especially in phases of psychotic experience.
