About My Images

Whether it's free artistic work or commissioned illustration, despite the diversity of my pictures, there is a distinctive style that runs like a thread through my entire work and so has become like my handwriting. It is nourished by my belief in the world as such, for which I must constantly fight and reinvent myself.
My time in Africa has encouraged me to paint large-format animal pictures on canvas. The exhibitions “Afrikas Farben” (Colours of Africa) in Hanover, Germany, and Salzgitter Ringelheim were held under the motto "Hauptsache bunt!" (Let it be colourful!) Acrylic painting was just right for my paintings at that time, but my standards have changed. During a two-year training phase, I acquired the art of portrait painting in oil. Some of my works combining images and text can be found under the menu item "Words".
In addition to canvas, I also enjoy painting walls and furniture. Would you want to know more, please contact me!
